City of Champions
Overview
This section of the website is for Believers who know that they have been called to turn the world upside down for Jesus Christ; for people who are tired of mainstream religion and want to rise to nothing less than the full stature of the Lord Jesus Christ.
- You understand that there is more to Christianity and Salvation than just being a good citizen and church member
- Deep has called unto deep and you hear the clarion call of God saying, “Come closer, there are things that I personally want to reveal to you and do through you!”
You’ve been listening to messages from your local church, Christian broadcasts, the internet and more, but there’s still a void in your spirit; you’re not satisfied. You know that there’s more but you can’t seem to put your finger on it. You’ve gotten the house, the car, the career, the companion, but you’re still unfulfilled.
You’ve read about the zeal, the passion, and the tenacity that Paul, Peter, and others in the first Church had, but your walk with God doesn’t slightly resemble theirs. So you ask, “Are you the same God in me as you were in them? What’s wrong here?” Allow me to help----read on.

Raising the Standard
Mainstream Christianity says just come to church once or twice a week, pay your tithes, give your offering, and live the best you can and God will be pleased. Well, if that’s all that it takes, then why is it that a handful of disciples turned the entire known world upside down for God and here we are today, hundreds of millions who claim to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior but the world is in the worst shape ever?
Because the standard of God has been lowered in the Church, the standard has been lowered in every aspect of society. This is the reason for the failing businesses and economies all over the world.
When the Standard of God is raised in the House of God, it permeates throughout society. People’s hearts return to God, His righteousness, His purpose, and His agenda. A foundational standard such as “Loving your neighbor as yourself” becomes our nature.
However, when the standard of God is lowered in the Church for selfish gain or to accommodate ones who have no intentions of advancing God’s kingdom, then personal gain and deceit are predominate.
When this type of corruption permeates the church, it too seeps out into society. When the church is corrupt, government becomes corrupt. When government becomes corrupt, businesses become corrupt, employees become corrupt, families become corrupt, children become corrupt. Thus you have a vicious cycle of corruption that can only be cured by fixing the root of the problem---the Church! The standard of God must be raised in God’s people AGAIN!
Church as we know it today simply will not do! God is seeking people that will uphold His standard of holiness and righteousness again in the Earth. He requires that His people humble themselves and pray, seek His face and turn from THEIR wicked ways, and then, according to 2 Chronicles 7:14, He will heal our land.

Demand Change
Aren’t you tired of going to church and coming home the same way? Aren’t you tired of those who confess to be Christians but whose lives contradict everything the Word represents? Will you allow Christ to use you as one of His representatives in the Earth?
Well, the things that worked in the past will not work for us today. Before, Christians could get what they needed from the preacher, from the devotional service, or from someone else’s encouragement. However, this is an entirely different era and a new dimension of God. There are no more quick fixes—we must become the change the world needs.
God has a mandate which states that “we must get to know Him for ourselves!” Yes, on a personal level! You’ve got to talk to God for yourself; you’ve got to learn to pray for yourself, you’ve got to study His Word for yourself, but most of all you must study the Word to become the Word, not just to babble about it. The only way real change is going to come to you and to the world is if the people of God become the Change---at home, on their jobs, in school, at church, EVERYWHERE!
The prerequisite for self-fulfillment is this; you must lay down your agenda and pick up Christ’s. Your heart, mind, will, and emotions must be conformed to His---I’m sorry but there is no other way. I’ve tried everything in the book and this is the only thing that holds true. You won’t be satisfied by being just a good church member; this is the era where you must become the Church—we must be the Christs in the Earth!
So I introduce many of you to the Truth and remind others, if there is no fervent desire in you to fulfill the purpose of God and win souls for Him then truly what is the purpose of your salvation? If your aim is only to get material things and a reputation for yourself, can you not do that as a sinner, why bother with Christ?

The Call
But God is calling those of us who know that there’s more to salvation than what we’ve been exposed to. There’s a commission in our spirits to be everything the Father has preordained us to be---to reach the lost, a commission to reveal and interpret the true heart and mind of God for all to see. But only those who have an intimate relationship with Him can interpret Him as He really is.
So I encourage you, if you don’t have a fire and a zeal to live for God, just ask Him to draw you; ask Him to make you hungry and thirsty for Him because His Words declares that He who hungers and thirsts after righteousness shall be filled. This really is the best life because not only does this personal relationship with God change your life, but you too will change the lives of those in your sphere of influence. You see, real change starts with you. You have a Champion Spirit!
Please read the following Scriptures and allow God to minister them to you because He is calling you to a higher place in Him.
- The spirit of the Lord is upon you, because the Lord has anointed you to declare the Gospel to the meek, the poor, and the afflicted; He has sent you to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, and to proclaim liberty to those who are held in physical and spiritual captivity, and the opening of the prison doors to those who are bound. You are to go and proclaim that now is the acceptable year of the Lord, the day in which His salvation and free favors profusely abound! Isaiah 61:1,2 and Luke 4:19
- Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:6,7
- Ho, every one that thirsts, come to the waters, and he that has no money; come buy and eat; yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread? and your labor for what does not satisfy? Hearken diligently unto Me and eat that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Incline your ear and come unto Me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you! Isaiah 55:1-3

The Structure
Our lives will be a new type of structure. We will allow our light to shine from within to illuminate these dark times; then integrity, virtue, and strength will be our reward. These characteristics along with daily fellowship with our Lord are necessary to rebuild ourselves, our neighborhoods, our cities, and our nations. For unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain that builds it (Psalms 127:1).
Whenever we try to accomplish anything without consulting the Savior, poverty and shame are our reward (Proverbs 13:18). We can no longer put our trust in our natural abilities, physical advantages, and external appearances, all of these things have failed us. However, because God has placed Himself on the inside of us, when we allow Him to work through us, no matter how dark the times are, His Light will always prevail!
According to Matthew 5:14-16, believers are to be the light of the world—a city set on a hill that cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle and put it under a basket; instead they put it on a stand so that it gives light to everyone in the house. It’s time for us to uncover our Light! For we are to resemble a city on a mountain glowing in the night for all to see; therefore, let your light (the illumination of His power) shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify our Father in Heaven.
Join with us and allow God to build the Champion in you. Let’s change the world one person at a time, one city at a time, and one nation at a time by drawing our Strength from Him and being a beacon for others to follow.

Invitation to Salvation
…the thief comes only to steal, to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have and enjoy life, and that they might have it more abundantly. For I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. John 10:7-11
So we invite you to receive Christ’s great salvation by simply believing in your heart that He has forgiven you of your sins and by receiving His saving grace. Then He will engraft you into His family and you will become a new creature.
According to 2 Corinthians 5:17-21, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things (your previous moral and spiritual condition) has passed away; behold all things are become new. And all things are of God, who has reconciled you to Himself through Jesus Christ and has given to you the ministry of reconciliation.
To wit, that God was personally present in Christ reconciling the world back to Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them and has now committed to those that receive Him the word of reconciliation.
You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer. Prayer is simply talking with God. God knows your heart and is not as concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart.
The following is a suggested prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. Father, I thank You for Jesus and everything You’ve done.
In Jesus name I pray. Amen.”

Equal Opportunity Savior
Jesus Christ is an equal opportunity savior. He doesn’t discriminate based on natural appearance or abilities!
Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that not many of you were wise in the world’s eyes, or powerful, or wealthy when God called you. Instead, God deliberately chose things that the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And He chose those who are powerless to shame those who are powerful.
God chose base things, people who are despised by the world, ones counted as nothing at all and uses them to bring to nothing what the world considers important; so that no flesh should glory in His presence.
God alone made it possible for you to be in Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made Christ to be the sum of all wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. He made us pure and holy and gave Himself to purchase our freedom. Therefore, the person who wishes to boast should boast only of what the Lord has done! 1 Corinthians 1:26-30
